The Greenwich Equities Family Office was founded in 2002 as a Private Fund Manager and continues in the tradition of the Hilton Group, managing the affairs of the Hilton Family Office. Licenced under the Australian Securities and Investments Commission, we provide high quality independent advice and capital.  We deal on the Australian Stock Exchange and on overseas exchanges. Our clients range from domestic and international private and listed companies, high net wealth individuals and local and overseas family offices.


Greenwich Solutions provides the specialist strategic advice and consultancy to take our global clients from concept to commercialisation. We provide government, academic and community engagement on both a domestic and international scale. We work across many industries including aged care, agriculture, communications, defence, energy, fisheries, housing, resources and sustainability.


Greenwich supports The Global Roaming Pilbara Foundation in its endeavour to provide educational, sporting and entrepreneurial opportunities to indigenous youth and facilitate their pathways worldwide through Asia, the Middle East, the UK and the US.

The Hilton Group


John Edward Hilton (Senior) emigrated to Sydney in October 1950 from the UK having owned Hotels in Mayfair amongst other property investments and furniture businesses in London, Manchester, the North of England and Cape Town after serving as a pilot in the Allied war effort in the Second World War.


He owned and founded the Hilton Hotel in Sydney, Australia under the Hilton Hotels Group, established in 1958, in Kings Cross and owned the Cargan Hotel in Elizabeth Bay overlooking Sydney Harbor. He also owned significant residential housing in Woolomoloo and Paddington, apartment buildings and furniture businesses in partnership with Nick Scali, which expanded to Melbourne.


He was joined in Sydney by his wife Muriel from the UK in 1952 and their son David Hilton in 1957 after finishing National Service in Germany.


David Hilton also had an illustrious commercial career in Singapore, KL and Sydney with Shell, Wearne Bros, Eastern Mining and Metals, The Guthrie Group and ABS White primarily as Finance Director before moving to Perth where he oversaw the integration of Justin Seward into what is now Knight Frank Hooker. David also built substantial private investment companies in both real estate development and the share market.


David’s son with wife Mally, John Hilton, born in Singapore in 1974, schooled at Wesley College in Perth and obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia. John founded the Greenwich Equities Family Office in Nedlands in 2002 before moving to the current Claremont Office in 2005. In addition to its commercial operations, John continues to manage the investments of the Hilton Group and other associated entities along with other family, individual and corporate entities’ investments.
